A Customer Facing Journey – Humble Yet Exciting Beginnings
Exactly one year ago, I received an invitation to showcase a few wallets on a small corner of a table at the renowned local festival, Earth Garden. I was surrounded by fellow craftsmen selling semi-precious stones, and the experience was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. I carefully observed the facial expressions of potential buyers as they examined my creations. As a dedicated craftsman, there is a love-hate relationship with sales. A part of me wishes to keep those unique items in my workshop, where I can savor a glass of wine and admire them. Yet, another part of me yearns for my work to venture out into the world, to be used, appreciated, and embark on its own functional journey.
It was heartening to witness friends visiting my stand and supporting me on my journey. The minimalist wallets received warm appreciation, and it brings me immense joy to this day when I see my creations in the hands of my friends, especially when they use them to pay for a refreshing beer. It's a double delight, witnessing both the functionality and the lasting impact of my craftsmanship.
