Cut from full-grain leather in a genuinely deep red — no washed-out orange, no plastic shine, just colour with weight behind it. The barrel body is structured, so it stands on its own on a table and keeps its shape year after year instead of collapsing into a heap after one season. The front panel runs clean with no seams breaking it up, which is harder to do and the reason it looks this expensive.
The twin rolled handles are set into reinforced leather tabs, so they carry the weight properly and will not tear out. The gold twin-pull zip opens the full length of the top, meaning you can actually see what is inside instead of digging blind. Edges are finished and burnished by hand. The Captain's Cut emblem is embossed quietly into the front, not stamped across it.
Full-grain is the top layer of the hide, left intact — the strongest grade there is, and the only one that improves with use. This is a bag you will still be reaching for in ten years, and it will look better then than it does now.

Returning a damaged or defective product
In the unlikely event that the bag you receive is defective or damaged in transit, please contact us by email within 10 days.
The fault should be apparent straight away or after initial use. A fault is a defect in appearance or function. In the event of a defect make contact first and we will take care of all the shipping procedures ourselves. After receiving our goods back, we will refund you or send a replacement.
Personalized items cannot be returned for a refund.
